Keith Swerdfeger understands Economic Development, he understands what it is to put people to work, and his success story embodies our American values.

Keith started his construction company in the mid-1960’s with a $5,000 dollar loan to buy the initial equipment.

As a small business owner for the past 42 years, Keith understands the economic engines which drive our American economy is small business. Keith started his construction in 1968 and has grown the company to a multi-state, multi-million dollar operation.

His success in the industry led him to lead the Colorado Contractors Association and the Distribution Contractors of America as president for both organizations, to serve as chairman for the Regional Planning Commission, and the national director for the Association of General Contractors of America.

Within his community, Keith actively serves on the Advisory Board for the State of Colorado Correctional Industries, the Board of Directors for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA), as well as the Colorado State Water Resources Committee.

Keith was also selected to the Pueblo Hall of Fame and was recognized as Citizen of the year by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce in 2009.

Keith and his wife Sharon have credited their success to hard work, common sense, and conservative values.
