DENVER—Today, the Commerce Department released the third quarter GDP report.
Chairman of the Colorado House Finance Committee Brian DelGrosso, R-Loveland, issued the following statement regarding the report:
“Today, we received another report reinforcing that President Obama’s tax-and-spend policies are not working. Last quarter, our economy grew only two percent. This is significantly below the level needed to reduce unemployment and less than half the growth the White House predicted after passing the stimulus bill.
“This year, under President Obama, our economy is on track to grow slower than last year. Coloradans deserve better and cannot afford another four years of President Obama’s failed policies and lack of leadership. Americans need a new direction with a renewed focus on small business and the middle class. Working together we can help hardworking Coloradans find good-paying jobs.”
