As a state native, State Rep. Ken Summers, R-Lakewood, says it’s a privilege to live in Colorado. During his professional career, Ken has contributed to various communities throughout the state where he resided, including local school boards, nonprofit organization boards, and the Arapahoe Credit Union, among many others. Ken received his undergraduate degree in Business Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1976. Following graduation, he served as a teacher and coach at Englewood High School and for 28 years was involved in serving as a local church pastor, and 19 of those years were served in Jefferson County.
