State Rep. Mark Waller is the current House Assistant Majority Leader, and represents House District 15, which encompasses portions of Northeastern Colorado Springs. Waller serves on the Judiciary; State, Veterans & Military Affairs Committees; and is a member of Legal Services. Born in Macomb, Illinois, Waller received his undergraduate degree in political science from Southern Illinois University in 1992. He then studied at the University of North Dakota where he received his Masters Degree in space studies, followed by his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, College of Law.
